What is a price comparison table (price mirror) and what is it used for?
A price mirror is a side-by-side comparison of offers from multiple vendors for identical line items. Construction companies, procurement teams, public buyers and project managers use it to pick the most cost-effective vendor and to document award decisions in an audit-ready way.
How does Pricemirror AI work?
You upload offers as PDF or Excel. The AI detects line items, quantities, units and prices, and automatically maps them between offers. You then receive a fully formatted price comparison with vendor analysis, ready to export as Excel or PDF.
Which file formats can I upload?
Pricemirror AI supports PDF (including scanned documents via OCR), Excel (.xlsx, .xls) and Word (.docx). GAEB-style structures are also handled because the AI recognises line items contextually.
How does Pricemirror AI handle privacy and AI processing?
Pricemirror AI is designed for professional use in Germany and the EU. In EU mode, AI processing is restricted to available EU provider paths. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your content to train our own AI models. A data processing agreement is available for enterprise customers.
How accurate is the AI when extracting line items?
The AI is tuned for offer and tender documents. It detects line items, quantities, units and unit prices with high accuracy and maps semantically similar items across vendors. You can review and correct every value before export.
